It would be an understatement to say that Jordan Wassink was pissed off about the result of last Monday's three on three tag team match.
T.G. McCullough, Anthony "Milbro" Brown, and Jordan Wassink lost to the team of Velze Formadill, Adam Roggeveen, and Dominic Pelletier. Wassink wasn't tagged in once during the match, and he fully blames both members of Team True North for him losing precious ladder positions leading up to Return to Form.
The thee on three tag match doubled as both a Doubles division rankings match as well as a Canadian division rankings match, so both Wassink and Milbro lost positions in the rankings to Roggeveen and Pelletier. Jordan, a previous two-time Canadian champion, was gunning to get out of the lower half of the Canadian division. Wassink is planning on taking things into his own hands.
A match has been made for this Friday between Brown and Wassink upon Brown's acceptance of Wassink's challenge. By the sounds of it, it's going to be a bloody match.
Meanwhile, Dominic Pelletier's pin for the win in that match is another talking point on his recent rise to stardom. Widely considered one of the most underrated wrestlers on the roster, Pelletier had a very deep run in last year's 3rd FLPW Single Elimination Tournament, which contained huge upset victories against the likes of favourite Joshua Ferguson and current World's Bestest Champion of the World Adam Pubert. Key match victories since then have propelled him to the top of the Canadian rankings.
Pelletier has been without a title during his tenure in the FLPW, and people are looking forward to Friday 16th's main event where Pelletier takes on Roger Olson for Roger's title rematch contract.
Also thanks to Pelletier, The Flying Dutchmen are moving on to fight Bulletproof P.M.C. this Friday for a spot in the Doubles division number one contender's match on the 16th.
Will Pelletier defeat previous champion Roger Olson and move on to gain a title match against Talladega at Return to Form?
