Several Teams Consider Splitting After September 12th Stream

Man, what in the world is going on with the Doubles division right now?

The Doubles division over the past month has been on of the funnest divisions to watch, what with it being filled with soilid tag-teams such as V-Nation, The Executioners, and the champions The Beast Crew. After the events of the 2nd FLPW A.I. Single Elimination Tournament, however, it seems that at least three different teams are re-considering their friendships.

Since starting the FLPW Twitch streams last month, the Doubles titles have been held by The Beast Crew (Tyler T-Man and Trevor Warren). However, T-Man has stated that he's looking to break into a singles division (mostly likely the US division) and make a name for himself. He also admitted that the first tag team reign of The Beast Crew looks like it's going to be their last for the time being.

Faithful viewers were able to see in action the formation of the tag team of Trent "T the MC" McRae and Marcus Gravy after they both got revenge on V-Nation after they were eliminated by its members in last month's tournament. Since then they've formed an unlikely partnership and have trashed every team in their way. Everyone except the Beast Crew. It seems that Trent blames Marcus for losing their title match, and after Marcus' very poor performance in the tournament last weekend, he's ready to end the whole thing.

Double J is in a similar situation. Head of the team Jacob Drummond is heading into a doubles title shot tonight against The Beast Crew, and he too is disappointed at the recent work of teammate John Polak. If Double J fail to get the belts from The Beast Crew, Jacob has openly stated that John is no longer welcome as part of the team and he'll start the search for another partner. Interesting stakes for tonight's doubles title match then.

So it seems no matter what happens tonight that at least one tag team will be calling it quits. In the meantime, the other teams in the division are getting ready to qualify to see who will become the next number one contender.
