Now that we've got the admin and scheduling details out of the way, let's catch everyone up to speed on what's going on the in FLPW.
The last event held was the 3rd Single Elimination Tournament last August celebrating the one-year anniversary of FLPW on Twitch, which was won by current National US Champion of America Saxxymus. Although his position as US champion is secure, current Canadian title holder Roger Olson and current World title holder Chris Furious are in real danger of losing their titles.
Roger Olson got eliminated round one by Johnny Talladega. Talladega would go on to win every match thereafter until reaching the grand finals against Saxxymus. A title match has been set for February 3rd between Talladega and Olson, and depending on the outcome of that match we may see this rivalry carry us into Return to Form at the end of February. There are also other wrestlers in the Canadian division to watch out for as well. Dominic Pelletier picked up shocking underdog victories against the likes of Joshua Ferguson and Adam Pubert to get him to a semi-final match against Talladega in the tournament, skyrocketing him up the Canadian division ladder rankings. Don't be surprised if somewhere down the line this month Pelletier gets a shot at the Canadian title.
Current World's Bestest Champion of the World Chris Furious was eliminated in the sound round of the tournament by Executioner member Adam Pubert. Chirs' history in FLPW tournaments is extremly shaky. One of the biggest underdog stories was Laine Whitaker, who defeated both Eddie Chumbo and Marcus Gravy before having an extremely close match against Saxxymus. Both have more than enough leverage over Chris Furious for a title shot, so a triple threat title match has been made for February 3rd where Chris will be defending his World title against Pubert and Whitaker.
There currently is no number one contender for the Doubles division title, currently held by V-Nation members El Koogs and Tom Mann, so it's full steam ahead for Doubles division rankings matches to see who they will defend their title against at Return to Form.
A full complete fight card will be posted cloer to February 3rd, but look forward to two extremely hype title matches, some good rankings match action, and a new addition to the FLPW roster debuting.
